Case Cooling - The Evolution Way

For a small case there are quite a number of cooling options available.  We have already mentioned the side intake vent that supports up to two 120mm fans and will blow air across the unique HDD rack.  We also mentioned the single 120mm fan location at the bottom of the case.  Given its position this should be an intake fan and will help circulate air behind the motherboard tray.
In terms of exhaust there are two options.  The first is a dual fan blowhole position at the top of the chassis.  Silverstone has included a single 120mm fan and has given you the option to install a second.

You will also find a single 120mm exhaust fan located at the back of the case in the normal position above the I/O connections.
    Cooling Options
We like to look at a case from a modders perspective and determine if there is anything we could or would change.  In the case of the TJ04-E Evolution you will be hard pressed to find anything wrong with the cooling options.  Yes, they could have installed air penetrator fans or tried to include fans larger than 120mm but that would detract from the classic shape of the original design.

For us, the mods may include custom paint and graphics and a side window of our own design.  Silverstone does sell this chassis with a side window option which is large, square and will show off your entire motherboard and system configuration.

Both of the dual fan position seems ripe for watercooling installations.  While we prefer the DIY approach those of you with AIO coolers you should be able to position the radiator in either of the exhaust locations.  Assuming you can live without the primary hard drive rack the side fan location could be modified to support a dual fan radiator with pump and res located nearby.
