    Power Connections

As you can see, the B800M is a hybrid or semi-modular power supply.  Some may prefer a full modular unit but there is no reason to have the core cable runs modular.  The cables will always be used so why introduce potential problems by adding connectors and the associated increases in cost?

The modular cables are universal and clearly labeled above the attractive kitty.  Both of the GPU runs are blue 8 pin plugs and match the cables.  All of the other plugs are interchangeable.  All of the cables are sleeved in black mesh and cleanly finished on the ends.

The primary power cables are a lengthy 60 cm (about 23.5 inches) to reach even in the larger ATX cases or behind the motherboard.  This includes a 20+4 pin main power cable and asset of 4+4 pin CPU runs.

The modular cables include the two blue 6+2 (8 Pin) PCI E cables for a total of 4 graphics card connectors.  This number varies based on the MaxBrom version you select.  450W through 650W units will support two connectors, 700 and 800W units support 4 and the 100W supports 6 total connectors.
