    Power Connections

The cable bundle is typical for any power supply and also included a few different variations on the typical cable configuration.

Let's start with the standard cables.

CPU power is available using two dedicated cables that fit a 10-pin plug at the PSU and slim down to the standard 8-pin at the motherboard.  While we only pictured one cable the Power Zone 850w comes with two braided cables.  One allows for 2x 4-pin configuration while the other is a solid 8-pin..

The 850w rating is perfect for multi GPU configurations and you will find three PCI Express power connections on the PSU marked by the 12-pin connector.  Our review unit only came with two PCI Express power cables which is enough to power two graphics cards or, one monster card.  Each PCI Express power bundles consist of two individually wired plugs that support the 6+2 pin configuration.

All of the PCI E plugs are a blue translucent so keep that in mind if you are attempting to color match your components.

Molex and SATA power leads come in a variety of flavors to match most any system build.  We have pictured the 5-plug Molex cable here which is also the longest cable in the bag.  You will also find a mixed Molex + SATA cable, short SATA and short Molex.
