    Gamer Xtreme System Performance

Cyberpower PC was kind enough to apply a factory overclock to our test system which brought the total turbo speed up to 4.2Ghz from the stock 3.5Ghz.  This was done using the UEFI and tweaking the same settings we all have access to.
If you happen to lose your overclock settings or reset the CMOS you can restore them using the O.C. Profiles and selecting the appropriate option.

    A word of caution
If you happen to flash the UEFI you will reset all of your system settings back to the default values.  Unfortunately  this also wipes out all of the saved profiles so flash the UEFI at your own risk.
The overall configuration is extremely good and the factory overclock really wakes the system up.  System memory is still 1600Mhz but has been configured using the XMP profile setting.

Gamers and hardware enthusiasts may not like the low frequency memory option but the "cheap chips" path may have a positive side when it comes to overclocking.  Rumor has it the faster the memory clock the lower your overall Haswell ceiling will be.  Simply put downclocked memory means higher CPU frequency.
