Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming Video Card Review

Fire Strike is a new DirectX 11 showcase benchmark designed for high-performance gaming PCs.  The benchmark features real-time graphics rendered with detail and complexity far beyond what is found in other benchmarks and really pushes the limits of what DirectX 11 can do.

As you would expect the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming is sitting at the top of the Firestrike performance charts.  It is important to note that the 970 G1 and R9 290X are both factory overclocked cards and that increase in speed is one reason why they best the reference GTX 780 Ti in this test.
