ASUS ROG STRIX X99 Gaming Review @ Vortez
Gaming!
That is all I'm going to say about that.
STRIX X99 Gaming arrives under the Republic of Gamers branding and is the latest in a number of products to join the STRIX portfolio. Bearing a stylish design, the STRIX X99 Gaming has the visual appearance and all the features too – this motherboard has characteristics which both gamers and overclockers will appreciate. Onboarding power/reset buttons, MemOK!, water pump fan headers, dual X16 mode PCI express and an assortment of storage options.
ROG has gaming in the name, not sure they need to add it to the product name too but, thats just me with my "get off my lawn" stick wondering what I am yelling about because "ASUS only cares about who ASUS cares about"
I guess with the edition of the X99 STRIX it is gaming.

Riotoro CR1080 Tiny ATX Case Review @ Legit Reviews
Now here is a case, a computer case that is, that was taken straight from Star Wars. And, we aren't talking the prequels or even the latest one that only the younglings will understand either, We are talking Episode IV: A New Hope and pretty early in the show too.
If you haven't heard of Riotoro before, you're not alone. They are a pretty new company founded by former employees of Corsair and NVIDIA. They believe that PC enthusiasts were being overcharged in order to have the best hardware. So they set out to design and provide enthusiast grade products at a lower price point. Previously, Legit Reviews took a look at their Prism CR1280 case, Riotoro's first case, and the first RGB lit case. Today, we are taking a look at their newest case, the CR1080, this is only their fourth case they have released. This is a small case that is designed to support full size ATX motherboards, standard power supplies, and even some of the longest graphics cards.
On a side note the amount of disgruntled employees starting their own companies because they can do it better is "too damn high".

Cooler Master New Cooler - Is it Liquid or Air?

Chino, USA – Cooler Master, a leader in design and manufacturing computer components and peripherals, today launched an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler that doesn’t look like a liquid cooler. According to Cooler Master, it skirts the divide between liquid and air cooling by combining properties from both.
Let’s get one thing straight – it is an all-in-one (AIO) closed loop liquid cooler. Mostly. What Cooler Master has done is shrink it down by combining the radiator and pump into a single frame. This frame and two dual fans are attached to a swiveling mechanism that allows you to quickly swap between vertical or horizontal mounting configurations. This versatility gives this unusual cooler a number of unique functions for smaller PCs and air flow set ups.

Liquid and air CPU coolers are always fighting.
Physics has granted liquid the advantage, but channeling that power requires an array of parts that ask for room and can intimidate even the bravest PC builder. Never mind the CPU’s surrounding components that are left to fend for themselves. If you don’t draw in air from somewhere else, the stagnant heat could impact overall system performance and lifespan.
Rather than approach the problem with existing AIO liquid cooler designs, Cooler Master just tossed them out and came up with a new angle. Combine the pump and radiator, shrink the size, trim the tubing and wiring, and suspend everything right over the water block on the CPU. This gives you the compact form factor and ease of installation reminiscent of a mid-sized air cooler with the performance of a smaller liquid cooler. Fit it onto anything from ITX to E-ATX motherboards while freeing up space for smaller cases or tighter layouts.
Switch and Swivel
Rotating the radiator and dual fans has two advantages – space and air flow. If you have a narrower case for smaller motherboards, flip into horizontal mode and it still fits without blocking any of your RAM or PCI slots, even on ITX. The MasterFan Pro 92mm fans in this position will blanket the motherboard with cool air, benefiting the components surrounding your CPU. Mounted vertically, you have a tower cooler pulling air through your case. This flexible functionality is something yet unseen in either liquid or air cooling.

MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming Z 8G Review @ HiTech Legion
You can always tell the sites that never upgrade. Sure they may get the latest GTX 1080's and get to rub elbows with folks down in Texas but when letters get cut off on your email distro something needs to change.
Why do I mention this? I have no idea. Instead here is a MSI GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming Z review for you to check out. I think the Z stands for "fast moving Zombie" or could be better than X because reasons. You'll have to check out the site to know for sure.
MSI has a winner with the GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming Z 8G video card. I had a great out of the box experience and even a better time hitting 2100 MHz with an overclock.
OMG 2100Mhz! that is like some kind of record. A salty one with extra find me in the corner crying with a skinned knee and shit.

Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Edition 8 GB @ techPowerUp
AMP!, its like amp but with more energy and excitment and not totally Extreme.
Seems good right?
Zotac's GTX 1080 AMP! Edition is one of the more affordable custom designs, retailing $30 cheaper than the Founders Edition. The dual-slot, dual-fan card is still overclocked out of the box and comes with a good cooler that uses lots of metal, delivering excellent noise levels.
Wow a whopping $30 dollar savings, it is almost like they are giving you the video card.and then you pay for the opportunity to play games and write tweets. Too bad it is not Extreme cause that would totally justify the nachos.

Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400MHz 32GB White Memory Kit Review @ Madshrimps
"Back in the day" I used to poke fun on how Crucial, a Micron company with their headquarters building located less than 10 miles from my office, would send review samples halfway around the world but wouldn't allow me to drive by and pick up a sample for myself.
Well, I'm about to do that again with this review posted over at MadShrimps of the Ballistix Sport LT review.
The Crucial Ballistix Sport LT White 2400MHz memory kit is not the fastest out there, but the 32GB memory quantity should suffice for many high-end PC configurations, for running demanding games, multimedia content or even digital content production. Their unique white-PCB look fits right in when we need to build an all-white setup and the Micron chips also give a bit of overclocking headroom.
While a DDR4 2400Mhz kit isn't all that fast the real benefit is the color and intention that you could overclock the modules for some extra speed where it counts.
Oh and they are white for all you OCD peeps who need a perfect module for your Gigabyte Designare-EX builds.

MSI RX 480 Gaming X 8 GB @ techPowerUp
MSI is putting a lot of effort into the Gaming X series and from what I can tell the GTX 1070 Gaming X is beyond good so why should the RX 480 be any different?
MSI's Radeon RX 480 Gaming X is the first custom-design RX 480 that has a good cooler that runs quiet noise levels and low temperatures, which is the only way to compete with GTX 1060. The card is also overclocked out of the box and includes user-adjustable RGB lighting.
RGB lights! Yes that is what is different.

PowerColor RED DEVIL RX 480 Review @ Vortez
There are maybe two AMD cards I would actually own the MSI Lightning and the PowerColor DEVIL. (Red Devil or Devil 13). The MSI Lightning is a no brainer, that card is designed for high end overclocking, is super fast and unlocked (when paired with the proper software). On the other hand the Devil cards are more of a status symbol. I have personally never used one but the name alone just makes me want to go out and buy one today.
Thing is, the Devil cards are limited edition and I am convinced they send them all out for review and leave none to sell.
The DEVIL series has been a permanent and successful fixture for PowerColor, representing the very finest in what a graphics card can offer. For those with a decidedly dark side, the RED DEVIL RX 480 seeks to appease the inner demon – boasting a custom design with triple fan configuration and two-mode factory overclock; providing gamers with a silent choice or outright performance.
From what I can tell the RX480 is just a cheap version of the R9 Fury but who am I to judge.

Gamdias Hephaestus V2 7.1 wit vibration @ LanOC Reviews
Back in the day, like, back in the day of Ninjalane.com there was a set of headphones that came in for review with an attached Bass Boost module. The year was 2003 and the company selling them was AOpen.
The AOpen HP-590 was reviewed by a good friend of mine who is rumored to still have those headphones today.
Back in May, I took a look at a new RGB mechanical keyboard from a company called Gamdias. Well as it turns out they aren’t just in the keyboard market, they mice, mouse pads, and headsets as well. They asked us if I would be interested in checking out one of their latest headsets, the Hephaestus v2. I read a little about the headset and on top of it being a 7.1 headset it also has something called Bass Impact that vibrates around your ears. As someone who enjoys a little bass but doesn’t want to lose my hearing early in life, I had them send the headset over to give it a little testing. After spending a little time with the headset I’m finally going to run you guys through its features and my overall experience, so let’s dive into it.
I guess it is good to see the concept is still around, this time with 7.1 sound and likely USB power. (USB is all the rage these days)
