Gigabyte GTX 780 GV-N780OC-3GD Video Card

Gigabyte will be coming out with a hot clocked version of the GTX 780 that will feature a specially designed triple fan Windforce 3X cooler.  The new cooler features an inclined fan profile blowing over a two piece heatsink assembly.  Each heatsink will feature 2x 8mm and 4x 6mm heatpipes and have an integrated memory cooler.

This new design should increase cooling capacity by concentrating heat dissipation to the two larger heatpipes.  Then as the saturation point nears the four smaller heatpipes can react and increase heat capacity.
    Gigabyte Specifications
Core Base Clock 954 MHz (Ref 863)
Core Boost Clock 1006 MHz (Ref 900)
    Memory Clock 6008 MHz
    Memory Size 3072MB GDDR5
    Bus Type PCI Express 3.0
    Memory Bus 384-bit
    CUDA Cores 2304
    Memory type 64Mx32

The new clocking profile is well within the normal GPU Boost 2.0 range and to put that in perspective a OC edition GTX 780 will outperform a GTX Titan at stock clocks despite having a smaller frame buffer and fewer CUDA cores.

No word on the Gigabyte pricing however, you can expect the card to be competitive with the reference design making the card a very attractive hardware solution.
