    Case Cooling and Installation

The cooling options found in the Scout 2 Advanced are quite extensive.  The case supports up to eight fans in various positions and comes with three out of the box.  You'll find two 120mm LED lighted fans at the front of the case and a single 120mm fan at the back.
Optional fans include two 120mm fans in the door, two 120mm fans at the top and a single fan at the bottom in front of the power supply.
    Install
The Cooler Master Scout 2 Advanced supports standard ATX motherboards with a total of seven expansion slots.  You'll find plenty of room at the back of the chassis for self contained watercooling units and the top 120mm fan locations are perfect for dual fan radiators.
To give an indication of size we used the Asus Crosshair V Formula motherboard supporting socket AM3 processors.  The motherboard size is typical of a gaming motherboard and just barely covers the cable routing grommets.

In terms of depth the Cooler Master TPC-812 fits quite nicely with plenty of room around the heatsink and just enough space to get the door closed.
