LIAN LI Launches RS Series PSU with World’s First Rotatable AC Inlet
December 5th, 2025, Taipei, Taiwan – LIAN LI, a leading manufacturer of computer chassis and accessories, unveils the RS Series PSU, the world’s first power supply featuring a rotatable AC inlet for flexible cable orientation and easier cable access in space-limited cases. Available in 1000W and 1200W models, the RS Series also features dual-side 20+4-pin motherboard outputs, premium EPCOS and Japanese capacitors, and a 135mm FDB fan with a Zero RPM mode for quiet and efficient operation. Paired with soft, flat modular cables, magnetic cable ties, and the optional RS Hub (a detachable USB module with four headers), the RS series is designed for clean builds, modern layouts, and high-performance reliability.
Rotatable Inlet & Dual-Side 24-Pin
The RS Series PSU features the industry’s first rotatable AC inlet, allowing the power input to be positioned for different mounting orientations. This is especially useful where PSU clearance is limited, as it enables users to adjust the PSU’s output ports to better fit the layout. When rotated, the output ports are on the side, making it easier to plug in cables after mounting the unit. Additionally, a 24-pin motherboard output is located on both the left and right sides of the PSU, allowing the motherboard's 24-pin cable to follow the most direct route in either orientation. This results in cleaner wiring, easier access to other PSU output ports, and extra space to mount the RS HUB directly on the PSU.
Efficiency, Quality, and Cooling
The RS Series PSU is certified 80 PLUS Gold, PPLP Gold, and Cybenetics Platinum, achieving over 90% efficiency under typical loads, which reduces waste heat and improves real-world efficiency. The RS series utilizes industrial-grade EPCOS capacitors, which are smaller yet more robust than conventional components, and is paired with Japanese capacitors to meet strict reliability and vibration standards for long-term stability. To facilitate clean builds, soft, flat CPU/GPU/SATA/PATA cables are paired with magnetic cable ties to simplify routing, reduce clutter, and enhance airflow. Cooling is managed by a larger 135mm FDB fan with a Zero RPM mode for improved thermal management and quieter operation.
Optional RS HUB: Magnetic USB Expansion
Some models include the RS HUB, a detachable, magnetic USB module with four USB 2.0 headers (supporting up to eight devices). It can be mounted and powered directly from the PSU for a tidy setup, or magnetically placed anywhere inside the case and powered via SATA. (Included with 1200W versions, optional with 1000W.)
