    Case Cooling and Sound

Cooling duties are performed by three matching black Antec TwoCool branded fans.  All three included fans are set to exhaust.  Two in the top and one in the traditional rear exhaust location.  Each of the intake vents is protected by a removable filter (including the power supply) the exhaust fans are not.
The P280 offers support for an incredible 9 external expansion slots.  Each slot is vented and held in place by a thumbscrew for ease of configuration.  Support for two 1" water-cooling runs is present allowing for external radiator mounting.

With the doors removed, you can see the dual layer design.  Antec has layered 0.8mm of steel/polycarbonate on the side panels to reduce noise.  The solid design offers ample surface and clearance for side cooling mods or a window kit if sound is not an issue.
The interior offers a more traditional layout with the drive cage across the front and the power supply mounted at the bottom.  3 tool-less external 5.25" drive bays, 6 internal 3.5"/2.5" drive bays, and 2 dedicated 2.5' bays are supported.  Interior surfaces are finished in the same durable black finish as the exterior and every edge is rounded or smoothed.  Antec's fit and finish is top notch.
