    Case Layout and Features

The Raven RVZ02 is a SLIM case design measuring 15 inches x 14.5 inches x 3.4 inches thick making it extremely thin and about a half an inch thinner than the older RVZ01.  Of course to make a case thinner you must sacrifice some things and in place of active cooling you will find two very large windows with passive cooling vents.

Despite being flipped the two side panels are identical and can be interchanged for easy assembly or, if you forget which one is the top.

Front panel design resembles the bezel deign of RV05 with the long angled panels and sharp beak like structure in the center.  You can find this design element on all Raven cases and is actually the “V” in the middle of the Raven logo.  Sliding this panel down will expose the external USB 3.0 ports and analog audio jacks for mic and headphones.

Like on all Raven cases the HDD activity light can be found under the panel in translucent plastic.

Inside the case you will find two major sections in the RVZ02.  In the lower section resides the Mini-ITX motherboard tray with a location for the SFX power supply.  Above the motherboard you will find the primary drive locations including space for a slim optical drive.

The top of the case is dedicated to video cards.  You’ll be able to install any standard dual slot graphics card up to 13 inches long with the option for another storage drive when shorter video cards are used.
