    Introduction

One of the highlights from the Kingston CES suite is their new 2TB flash drive.  As you can imagine the drive is larger than a typical flash drive and comes encased in a full aluminum shell.  One end of the drive slides to expose the USB 3.0 compliant plug and protects the drive when not in use.

The drive comes with a padded carrying bag and USB extension dongle for easy hook-ups.

Kingston was also showing their new NVMe M.2 SSDs available in all of the popular storage capacities including 240GB, 480GB and 960GB.  It is following the M.2 2280 form factor and comes with a 2700Mb/s Read and 1800MB/s write.

Considering that M.2 is the hot storage item of the season why not push the limit?  Kingston was also showing two new enterprise drives that take the existing M.2 NVMe drive and bundles four of them together on a single PCI Express storage card.  This allows you the option to use the drives individually or use software RAID to bind the drives together for larger capacities and faster transfers.

These are non-serviceable drives and also come in a U.2 variant.
