    Borderlands 3 Pre-Order
Listeners of the Hardware Asylum Podcast and Ninjalane Podcast will know that both Dennis and Darren have played a lot of Borderlands 2 and many of the early podcast episodes were dedicated to the game and DLC content.  With the announcement that Borderlands 3 would be released later this year the question quickly becomes.

Do I pre-order the game? And if I don’t pre-order the game will it be cheaper or more expensive after the launch.  History tells us that games tend to get cheaper after the launch however, history has also told us that Borderlands didn’t have a price drop until 2 years later.

For those of you on the fence be sure to check out some of the early alpha gameplay and listen to what some of the gamers had to say that attended the press event.  Here is a hint,  Streamers that actually knew what they were doing loved it, the gaming reporters who really don’t play games were excited but had a very different perspective. *cough* IGN */cough*

    Casemodding Competition
We are excited to be hosting a casemodding competition during the Boise LAN 10 later this summer.  As with any contest there must be rules to help narrow down a winner and to help the judges know what to look for.  In this segment Dennis and Darren give you a high level overview of the differences between a Computer Build and a Computer Mod.  On the surface they may be the same however, to the trained eye they are worlds apart.

For instance one of the systems in the above photo is a full computer build and the other is a full computer mod.  Can you tell which one is which??  Hint: Listen to the show!!
