When building your own watercooling loop the careful enthusiast will pine over every aspect of the loop from fittings to the color of the tubing.  (trick response. Tubing color doesn’t matter).  While this selection process is often based on something they saw online or limitations of your pocketbook that doesn’t mean you need to duplicate it.  One of the classic mistakes is installing too many radiators or one that is too small instead of sizing them correctly.  Sure a multi radiator build looks great on Instagram and will get you repeated dates it is often just a waste of money.

That is, unless you are into that sort of thing.

By sizing your radiator correctly you not only save money but will be assured that your build will run smooth, silent and cool for years.  Of course, when you start messing with the formula problems can arise such as sleepless nights, leaks and significant others leaving you for someone who can actually build a computer.  So, stop doing that.

In this Podcast Extra the duo talk about the different aspects of radiator design and dive into how to size them correctly.

Just don’t take our tick tack toe idea!
