GTX TitanIn this first segment Dennis talks about the new GTX Titan graphics card that is based on the existing K20 Tesla card using a completely new GK110 GPU. The GPU was intended for use in the super computer market but, given the power efficiency and raw performance it only seemed fitting to add a digital video out and offer it up to retail buyers willing to pay the thousand dollar price tag.

The latest gaming model, free to play, has its roots in the old Shareware model but instead of limiting you to only a few levels the game developers allow you to play the entire game but only offer the best loot to folks willing to pay for it.
This new model can be rather lucrative when done correctly and for it to be effective the game also has to be good. This must be one reason why Darren still plays PlanetSide 2 and is really looking forward to Path of Exile.
