    Case Layout and Features Cont.

As you can tell, the Enforcer places the power supply at the bottom of the case.  This design is gaining traction and offers some nice advantages to the traditional top mounting.  Heat is controlled by pulling cool air in through the mesh bottom and out the back through the power supply.  Internally the power supply no longer blocks or attempts to aid with natural heat dissipation freeing up more internal space for proper airflow and larger components.  Thanks to the variety of cable management options in the Enforcer it looks a lot cleaner as well.  A nice plus when you include a larger window!
You can take a closer look at the 7 + 1 expansion slots too.  I am always impressed when a company takes the initiative to include vented slot covers.  Cooler Master takes the extra step to include color matched covers.  I do miss the thumb screws here but let's be honest, how often do you go back in to make changes?

With the door open you can see the four external bays are also mesh to aid in airflow (another argument for my front louver mod?).  The bays are modular and can be used for typical 5.25" devices and for 3.5" devices.  One adapter bridge is included.
The front fan venting is covered by a protective mesh that provides pretty good airflow in through the front.  Behind the mesh you will find a finer mesh to help control dust.  Removing the front is simple but does require taking both side panels off.  Removal is not required to install standard devices in the front drive bays.

Primary cooling duties are handled by a red 200mm fan located in the lower front of the case.  According to Cooler Master the fan runs at 1,000 rpm and moves 142 CFM while operating at 19 dBA.  The fan can be mounted using a standard 3 pin case port or with the included 12V Molex adapter.
The rear fan is a standard black 120mm unit.  The operating specs are 1200 rpms with a noise level of 17 dBA.  Much like the front 200mm fan you can use either the 3 pin motherboard lead or included Molex adapter for power.  It is safe to say the Enforcer runs at a positive air pressure state out of the box.  During the installation I removed the fan and rotated it so the cables routed across the top and back of the case.  This allowed me to effectively move the wires out of sight and make things a little cleaner..
