    Case Layout and Features

The Metallicgear Neo is a pretty basic box.  The front panel is a solid panel of aluminum with rounded edges at the top and bottom.   The bottom is contoured to match the shape of the feet and really blends in nicely with the rest of the chassis.

Along the side of the front panel you’ll find the primary intake vents.  While not big and round like what TechTubers what you to believe is the best, they are respectful in size with a respectful gap to prevent excess fan noise.

Fillping the case around you’ll quickly see that this case supports the MicroATX form factor with the PSU located at the bottom and support for a 120mm exhaust fan.

One of the things I loathe when it comes to computer cases is having the expansion slots “flush” with the back panel of the case.  Yes, I know this is a cheaper way to build a case but it is a horrid way to build.  Not only des it make the case feel cheap but leaves metal sticking out the back of the case.

Front panel connections are located on the left side of the case and are flush with the side panel glass.  You’ll find the typical analog headphone and microphone plugs along with two USB 3.0 connections and a small reset button.

The top panel of the Metallicgear Neo Micro is completely flat with rounded edges where they meet the side panel glass.  There is absolutely no venting in this panel but, as a consolation the aluminum panel covering the top is the same thickness as the front bezel and features two flush mount buttons for power and RGB switching.
