    Case Layout and Features

The simplified design not only helps keep costs down, it also gives the PM02 a sleek almost stealthy look.  Only the subtle red accents give it away.

Perhaps the most striking feature is the massive tinted tempered glass window on the left side.  This window definitely begs for a clean installation. The front panel follows the growing trend of cases with noexternal drive bays and hides three 140mm fans.  I do love the vent design. It breathes well and makes good use of the accent lighting at the bottom of the panel.

The back is pretty standard with exception of the 140mm exhaust fan.  SilverStone’s inclusion of 4 quality 140mm fans is a nice plus and will provide plenty of airflow for most common builds.  Support for 7 PCI slots and a power supply up to 190mm deep round out the back side.

The top features a magnetic dust filter covering slots for two additional 120mm/140mm fans or a good 2 x 120mmm radiator.  The usual external ports, power and reset buttons are lined up across the front.

Two large “feet” provide a good inch of clearance for your power supply to breathe with a nice removable dust filter.

A closer look at that window reveals it’s a single piece of Tempered glass with the front hinge glued on at the bottom. A set of screws fastened at the top hold things firmly in place.

I do love these windows! They look great and provide a fantastic window for a clean build or some good lighting.

A large SilverStone logo across the bottom cover provides a tasteful accent. The cover is not removable but does channel air from the lower front fan directly across the lower drive bays and the PSU.  The rest of the interior is wide open thanks to the lack of 5.25” drive bays.
