    Case Layout and Features Cont.

Cooling is handled by a single 180mm air penetrator fan.  For those of you who are not familiar with the air penetrator design it features a series of fins on the exhaust side of the fan that change the airflow patterns from an outward expanding cone into a single column.  Of course the benefit is more precise cooling that not only requires less airflow and produces less noise.
A removable air filter slides into the fan cradle to prevent dust from entering the case.  The only downside is that to clean the filter you have to also remove the case panels.

To begin assembling the SG08 you must remove a few key components including the 180mm fan.  We removed the optical drive tray to show where the cables route and also to gain access to and HDD cage.
The HDD cage is very unique in that the entire thing is vibration isolated using yellow rubber grommets and will hold up to three drives including two SSDs and a single 3.5" rotational drive.
