Gigabyte GTX 650 Ti Boost Video Card Review

Battlefield 3 is the newest in the Battlefield series made by Dice games and distributed by EA.  The game engine uses some of the latest technologies to make the game look, and feel, as realistic as possible. For our testing we are using FRAPS to monitor the framerate and recorded the first mission of Sword Breaker from the time you exit the troop carrier to the headshot.

Benching Battlefield 3 was really a lot of fun, but it takes a long time to do.  In an attempt to get a good data cross section we ran this test a little longer than the "typical" 120 seconds to even out the framerate differences.  

Again we are seeing a similar performance curve between the two cards and a sizeable jump in performance between 25x16 and 19x10.  The interesting thing is how fast the GTX 650 Ti Boost is compared to the Radeon 7850 OC.
