    Card Uncovered

With the heatsink removed you can clearly see the component layout.
The Windforce has become a common cooling solution on all of the high-end Gigabyte video cards and is often regarded as one of the coolest factory heatsinks on the market today.  Each video card gets a special heatsink design however; there are some very obvious similarities.  The first is the large cooling fans that are both quiet and powerful followed by the shapely fan shroud that protects the fans from damage.

Power is delivered using a conservative 4 phase PWM and located on the side opposite of the video connectors.  Gigabyte has included a PWM cooler that is integrated into the custom heatsink.
The reference GTX 650 Ti Boost design called for a half-width PCB and while some mfgs offered extended length PCBs the Gigabyte design is very close to the reference offering.  6-pin PCI Express power connector located on the outer edge.
