During the slow part of the PC hardware season, it can sometimes be difficult to find topics to discuss and is when the duo falls back on a second passion, Gaming.

In this episode Dennis and Darren talk about Board Game crossovers that started as popular PC games.  For most of these games the setup is the same as the PC component but changed to fit the board game format.  This can sometimes be a shuffled deck of cards, a series of dice rolls over a static board or even a progressive exploration where everyone discovers the map in real time with tiles that are added to propel the game forward.

Most of the time the discussion centers around a compiled list or a website article but, in this episode Dennis decided to throw an AI element into the mix using Gemma4 31B to summarize the article and extract the juiciest of morsels to make the show more interesting.  While AI can be a very powerful tool, it can sometimes fall short on its goals when attempting to provide a third dimension to a saturated discussion.
