When building a gaming PC on a budget there are endless sources of information out there from websites, books, videos and the latest suggestion from Instagram. From experience I can tell you that the information out there is wildly incomplete but, if you spend enough time to sort through what is available you can generally find what you need to move forward. This can be a frustrating process, especially for someone who really doesn’t care about computers or even realize that ChatGPT isn’t a real person.
In this episode the duo discuss building a Budget Gaming PC in 2026 to play some of the most popular game titles from the past year. And, to prove that they know a few things about computer hardware they will be referencing a blog article from Corsair on the same topic.
Component selection is rather simple. If you have a game you want to play, check out the recommended system specs. These are the hardware choices the game studio has determined to be what you will need to play the game. The game may run like hot garbage but, the game should run and allow you to experience something on screen.
Your goal is to pick something better.
Below is the system discussed during this episode, including links to Amazon if you wanted to pick one up.
