Sama V60 Gaming Build and Review

The final Sama item for this build is the G1000 1000w PSU. 

According to the specification sticker this is a single rail PSU with 100w available for +5v and 3.3V while 999.6w are left to power 12v devices including motherboard and video cards.  One thing I find interesting is the 200-240vac power dependency which is only for China.

A large fan is included to keep the G1000 cool though with the published 80 Plus Gold rating there should be very little heat generated under normal use. 

The Sama G1000 is fully modular featuring three dedicated ports for SATA and Molex plugs and five ports for 12v PCI-E and CPU power cables.

A single 12VHPWR connection is available next to the main 24pin power cable.

All of the cables feature the insulation embossing to make them look braided.  A good example of this can be found on the main 24pin power cable that even comes with a factory installed cable comb.
