    Cooling Kit Layout and Features

The Classic RGB P360 comes with everything you see here.  If you are thinking “that doesn’t seem too complex” you would be right.  Each version of the Classic RGB comes with everything you need to do a single CPU cooling loop.  Your radiator choice will dictate how much heat you can handle or support if you want to do some overclocking.

The heart of any watercooling system is the radiator and will dictate how much heat your loop can handle.  My general rule of thumb is to have a single 120mm x 25mm radiator for every 250w of heat you plan to consume.  The EK P360 watercooling kit comes with a EK-Coolstream PE 360 radiator, supports triple 120mm fans and measures 45mm thick.  Needless to say this radiator can handle some heat.

Cooling the radiator is done with three EK-Vardar F4-120ER RGB fans that spin between 500 and 2200 rpm.  The centers feature RGB lights and feature a dedicated four pin RGB header.

To start the cooling process you need a quality CPU waterblock and the EK P360 features the EK-Supremacy Classic RGB.  This is a nickel plated copper block based on the Supremacy block design.

In terms of weight this block is surprisingly light due to the plexi top and rather thin coldplate.  The block comes with the Intel mounting hardware installed and for those using AMD hardware the AM4 mounting system is also included with the kit.  Four screws later and you’ll be ready to install.

One of the most expensive components of a DIY watercooling loop is the pump and water reservoir.  EK includes the EK-XRES 140 SPC PWM Classic RGB pump res combo.  Honestly this is a down market pump/res due to its size and pump type however, don’t let that discourage you as the pump is really quite powerful and well sized for this loop.

Maximum Flow 250 L/h with a head pressure of 2.2 meters.  The tank is 3.75” tall with the pump inlet directly under a disruptor plate in what seems to be an attempt to prevent cavitation when air is in the system.

Mounting the pump res combo is done using either the four rubber mounting posts at the bottom of the pump or can be done with the included 120mm mounting bracket.  This bracket allows you to install the pump res to any 120mm fan location, provided it is at the bottom of the case.  If you have no fan location it makes for a great template for drilling your own holes. Either at 120mm or using the smaller pump base posts.

EK has included a 100mL car of EK-CryoFuel Clear coolant concentrate for filling your loop and makes 1L of coolant when mixed correctly.

Moving the water around is done using 2 meters of EK DuraClear PVC tubing.    Tubing is 3/8” ID by 1/2“ OD and designed to fit the EK-STC Classic compression fittings.  These fittings are a basic barb fitting with a compression ring that acts as a hose clamp.  Not only are they extremely easy to use but are also very strong.  This is just my opinion but these fittings are leak proof when installed correctly.

Finally in the kit you’ll get all the cables and accessories needed to not only install the kit but hook up the RGB lighting, power the pump and remotely power the PSU for filling the loop.
