    Introduction

There has been a lot of innovation when it comes to keyboards from custom frame designs to elaborate key switch architecture and form factors you can apply an infinite amount of personalization and still have room to grow.   During Computex MSI was showing the new Strike Series keyboards including the new Strike Alloy.  This is a full magnesium-aluminum frame paired with TMR magnetic switches which can deliver an 8000Hz poling rate for ultra low latency.

A five layer gasket mounting system ensures that the keyboard is sufficiently dampened against vibration and the dual hot swappable design supports both the magnetic TMR and standard mechanical keyswitch designs.

The new Strike Series keyboards will be available with different keycap options with the translucent and cell shaded designs shown here.

However, what stands out as the most impressive feature is the Strike Nexus.  In what appears to be a 10-key accessory is a fully touch screen display that will show a standard 10-key, will do system monitoring, stream deck style shortcuts and real time control for vital system functions including ARGB system control.

The Strike Nexus also acts as an external storage device with support for an M.2 based SSD in the base.

Like other motherboard companies MSI was celebrating their 40th anniversary by launching the Draco line of limited edition products featuring a new MSI dragon logo and accompanying artwork.  The products themselves remain unchanged but are only available in limited quantities.
