    Benchmarks - Video

    We ran a series of system benchmarks on the Fangbook X7-200 to give us a performance baseline.  The effective system speed for these tests was 3.2Ghz using the average boost clock and unless noted in the test the notebook was connected to the power brick to enable the nVidia graphics solution.
    3DMark 11
    There are six tests in 3DMark 11. The four graphics tests use advanced rendering techniques to compile the scene including tessellation, volumetric lighting, depth of field and post processing effects. The physics test uses rigid body simulation to stress the CPU while the combined test features CPU and GPU workloads. The CPU handles rigid-body physics while the GPU is tasked with volumetric lighting, tessellation, post processing as well as simulating soft-body physics using DirectCompute.

    3DMark - Fire Strike
    Fire Strike is a new DirectX 11 showcase benchmark designed for high-performance gaming PCs.  The benchmark features real-time graphics rendered with detail and complexity far beyond what is found in other benchmarks and really pushes the limits of what DirectX 11 can do.

    3DMark - Cloud Gate
    Cloud Gate is a new test that is designed for Windows notebooks and typical home PCs.   The benchmark uses a DirectX 11 engine limited to Direct3D feature level 10 making it suitable for testing DirectX 10 compatible hardware.

    Crysis 2
    Crysis 2 is a CryEngine 3 powered game designed to set the standards for high quality graphics.  The game engine has been upgraded to support DX11 and features Nvidia technologies such as native 3D Vision support.  We are using the Adrenaline Crysis 2 Benchmark Tool and the Central Park map to capture framerates.

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat
    S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat is a first person shooter based around the destruction of a nuclear power plant. It uses the XRAY 1.6 Engine, features DirectX 11 support, and it includes real-time GPU tessellation. The maps feature photo realistic scenes of the region it is made to represent.
