    Board Layout and Features Continued

Quad channel memory comes standard on the LGA 2011 platform and the X99 FTW K supports DDR4 modules at speeds over 3200Mhz with a maximum of 128GB usable.  24pin ATX power is located in the traditional location near the upper edge of the motherboard and is oriented 90 degrees to help with cable routing and airflow.

Internal SATA connections number ten and follow the new SATA6 connection standard direct from the chipset.  Six of these connections support RAID 0/1/5/10 while the remaining four are limited to AHCI only.

EVGA is famous for rotating their power connections to be parallel to the PCB.  This can be seen on the main 24pin power connector, USB 3.0 headers and additional PCI Express power connector located at the bottom of the motherboard.  The same cannot be said for everything else.
