Battlefield 6 Multiplayer Reveal and Beta Play Weekends
A common thing for game developers to do before the release of a major title is to provide a way for players to try it out. This is often called an Open Beta and serves as a way to not only introduce new players to their game but also to get feed back on how the game operates and test their systems to ensure that everything is ready before the actual launch.
Some may call this an “out of town preview but, its in town” allowing players to kick the tires AND, if things end up going south the devs can say, “Well, it’s a beta”.
The first Multiplayer preview happed when this episode was being recorded so it seems only right to discuss what was being shown and talk about the new features and very modest system specs.
Of course, getting to the open beta is not all that difficult so, if you want to check out the latest Battlefield 6 release check out some of the links below.

Maybe on of the most difficult things about doing anything on the Internet is figuring out how you are going to make money doing it. When working with existing platforms the process is rather straight forward. With YouTube when you create compelling content the platform will start to share some advertising money with the creator. For Twitch, if you are any gud at playing g4mez twitch.tv may offer you sponsorship deals
And, the list goes on.
However, when doing things yourself you have to do EVERYTHING yourself. For instance, when recording a podcast the creator needs to consider where it will be hosted and what that host will be doing with the content and if they will be charging you for the opportunity.
Everything at Hardware Asylum is pretty much “grass roots” and rather old school. The site does have advertisements and doesn’t force readers to deal with a sea of sponsored articles or wade through endless popup ads. The content should speak for itself as that is really the most important thing.
One of the new features of the website is a set of articles targeted at shopping on Amazon. These are currently formatted as a Top 5 List following a certain theme and is really an extension of what happens to us in the real world when someone founds out that we do product reviews.
Well, now you can check out these shopping pages and help support the website when you make a purchase.
The best part is, you can help drive what we include by making suggestions so, let us know what you think should be done next.
