SilverStone surprised us all with this retro inspired computer case is quite amazing and extremely bold. It would seem that LCD is the new ARGB and Thermaltake is jumping in with booth feet to create the Minecube AIO. This quad screen LCD is used to decorate an otherwise simple AIO with LCDs that can be daisy chained together or operated independently.
at Computex 2025 ASUS announced the ROG Crosshair X870 Extreme following in a long tradition of offering the highest end motherboards to the best platforms which now include a full LCD screen.
Several memory makers were showing off multi module high-capacity builds and TeamGroup was one of the few to offer both ultra-fast modules and kits to support ultra-high capacities. This is one of the biggest challenges with modern system builds and TeamGroup seems to have figured it out.
During Computex 2025 MSI was showing a new MPower motherboard based on the B850 chipset and built with a Micro ATX form factor. The board features a single PCI Express Gen5 video card slot and two M.2 drive locations. To aid in memory overlocking the board is limited to only two memory slots and features a monster of a VRM to ensure accurate power delivery and hopefully break some records.
One thing about Zotac, they aren’t afraid to try something new and given their track record for creating some pretty amazing small form factor computers it is only fair they continue.
On display they had a number of RGB LED enabled coolers and some pre-release multi port reservoirs but by far the most interesting item was the Alphacool Eiskoffer. This is a complete PETG bending kit with everything you need to bend PETG and Acrylic tubes.

I'm always impressed with what ASUS ROG has been doing to expand their brand and of the major companies building hardware is by far one of the most successful. So much they can take a break to introduce even more great ROG stuff.
Cooler Master had an amazing display of RGB LED lights which could be found on coolers, cases, keyboards, mice and even the entire room. Yes, thats right they figured out how to change the room color based on what is on your monitor.
2017 was a great year for Hardware Asylum which included a good mix of what makes this website different from everyone else and a good mix of what will make Hardware Asylum better in 2018
